MY STORY

The above picture is why I created Zavia.  Like every mildly over-protective mom I wanted to be sure I was doing everything I could to provide my kids with a nurturing and healthy home life.  Because of this I became an avid label-reader.  I began pouring through the ingredients of the products in our home and in the grocery store aisle and I was amazed at what I found.  The products I looked at were loaded with chemicals, artificial coloring additives, and were chock full of lab-made preservatives.  I thought to myself, “There has to be another way.”  I continued my quest for a healthier home and then my mom  introduced me to  essential oils.  These wonderful liquids are all-natural and provide access to a variety of positive and healthy attributes for the home and the body.  After countless hours tinkering in the kitchen, research on the internet, and speaking with essential oils and soap-making professionals I decided to take my family’s ongoing health into my own hands. 

I launched Zavia in the Spring of 2015 to provide like-minded people with healthy, high quality options for personal care.  Our products are handmade using unique blends of essential oils and all natural ingredients and refrain from using any manufactured additives or coloring.  My family and I are Zavia’s biggest customers, which I hope speaks to the quality of our ingredients and our manufacturing process.  I only want the best and healthiest products for the two little nuggets in the picture above (and my husband too!), and that’s exactly what we try to provide to our customers with every product we make.
